Sarah Harris – Southern Comfort – A Poem

Southern Comfort

sometimes it’s nice to ramble
on the Creatures that exist,
not on land or in a sea
but in the mind subsist.
their size is shaped by whimsy,
their color every Hue,
their talents though Are flimsy
thought up by only you.
Reason takes hiatus
and wry thoughts not dismissed
when visions find a recess
as curious as this.
there is so much in Losing
Ones Troubles of The day
in such a thought defying
and Intoxicating way!
(hic) . . . (hic) . . . (hiccup!)
