Danny P. Barbare – Two Poems
Sharon’s Roses
On a late December
night as if she is the
bush of roses beyond
her death, she left her
earthly self as if reaching
up from the ground. It
seems she is always
in full bloom.

The Lantern
As the green lights spiral up
the post on a cold night and
windy, says the lantern, Christmas
Eve will be here soon. Many
times I have shown, and maybe
on snowy scenery.
