Happy Holidays From the Mule Staff
Hi Mules,
Hey ya’ll, we’re updating our database, creating a new WordPress backend and just spiffing up the Mule for the coming year. So bear with us if the page you’re looking for loads slowly, or if the front page (home page) gets wonky. By mid-January, the Mule will be much improved with better archives access, an up-to-date blog with frequent entries, and more.
We’ve slogged through lots of personal muck these past few weeks. To those who know her, Ruth is doing remarkably well. Thanks for your kind wishes, your prayers, and your positive thoughts.
In case you don’t know, a lot of things have been going on in eastern North Carolina—a lot of things concerning health issues. In case you think we’re being cryptic, we’ll explain: It’s not our place to make public the details of other people’s lives. We are southern and polite. We will say this though, a lot of Mules are coming home for the Holidays. Home is a fine place to be with a lot of loyal Mules. So Happy Holidays. And thanks to all who make editing and publishing the Dead Mule a literary and personal pleasure.
Happy reading,
The Staff of the Dead Mule School of Southern Literature
